MAGGOT'S MAGICK BLOCK (PILOT)
Maggot’s Magick Block is my CalArts thesis film: a 7-minute animated pilot based on a world I dreamed about for more than 10 years. Follow a young witch as she suffers a Magick block instead of an art block; a strange visit sends her on a quest to regain her powers.
SHROOMS, ALIENS AND ROCK N ROLL (2025)
Inspired by one of my favorite rock stars, Bunbury from Spain. Back in the 80s, he visited Mexico and was interviewed about his opinion of Mexican women, stating that they were not his type... Knowing this shocked me, and the result was this film. Infusing my love for sci-fi, comedy, and Mexican shamanism, this film was created.
ESOTERICA (2024)
Inspired in real life experiences going to markets in Mexico City to have tarot readings, Elena goes to a market and accidentally ends up in front of a mysterious witch`s booth, this witch seems to be able to help her find the love of her life with a spell! -Welcome to Esoterica!-
CILINDRO (2023)
When a barrel organ musician in Mexico City's 50s is invited to play at a cantina, he is pushed outside of his comfort zone and gets extremely anxious. Is he going to be able to perform? A tribute to the Mexican golden cinema era, to nostalgia and tradition!
